Polaris queues notices to Vega for patrons without email address

There is a hidden SA setting called "Overdue notice: convert 1st overdue from email to print" that is referenced. When this SA setting is set to "No" then Polaris will attempt to send the notice as an email even if there is no email address within the patron account. 

NOTE: This involves a setting that is not accessible within System Administration. The circumstances for this to occur were very specific and were resolved in Polaris 7.7.

Polaris API keyword searching no longer defaults to relevancy sorting

PAPI notification update not considering setting "Overdue notice: convert 1st overdue from email to print"

When an email notice fails while using PolEmailManager (regular Polaris notices) there is a hidden SA setting called "Overdue notice: convert 1st overdue from email to print" that is referenced. When this SA setting is set to "No" then Polaris skips the first overdue notice (if it fails) and continues onto the second overdue notice. With the PAPI when an email fails it is not considering the hidden SA setting "Overdue notice: convert 1st overdue from email to print".

Availability lightbox in PAC displays content in small space in some conditions

When viewing search results in the PAC and clicking the Availability button, the contents of the Availability lightbox / modal do not use the entire space of the box. The contents will then be placed into a small portion of the overall lightbox, and users have to scroll through to read the contents. Catalog redirect message when clicking back button in chrome

In Chrome or Chromium based browsers, including Edge, if you click the back button after going to title details after your 2nd click, the PAC displays a page that says too many redirects. The page will then load, but for Chromium based kiosk browsers, it gets stuck.

Placing First Available Item Request in PAC Cuts off List View

In PowerPAC, when placing a first available copy request from the search results (PAC brief view "Place Hold" button), the lightbox appears to select the desired volume. If there are enough items in the list to force a vertical scrollbar to appear, the bottom of the list will be cut off and the user will not be able to scroll all the way down.

Able to create hold requests via SIP when patron otherwise blocked in PAC and Client

When a request is placed via SIP (i.e. a SIP Self-Check) patrons are able to create bibliographic hold requests on titles were all linked items are unable to fulfill the hold. All items linked to the bibliographic record are cataloged with a material type that is restricted from hold requests according to the Patron / Material Type Loan Limit Blocks Policy Table. Furthermore, the request goes through despite having the "If patron is blocked: Block in Staff Client" and "Block in PAC" selected.

Associated Patrons Blocked through SIP for their Associate's Hold

When the SA setting under Self-Check Unit - Patron Blocks set for blocking associated for patron blocks and both Patron A and Patron B have the "Block me if these patron records are blocked" setting enabled for each other, if Patron A has a held item on their account then Patron B is blocked when attempting to checkout items via SIP. Patron A is not blocked, however, from doing the same even though that patron record is the one with the held item. Only the associated patron without the held item on their account is blocked from checkout.

A bug was found in how the patron information and patron status messages were handling blocking notes. This has been fixed. The expected behavior is for the patron information and patron status message to return the "Patron has notes" message when a patron has blocking notes. This message should not be ignored by vendors for libraries who want to block patrons based on blocking notes.
