D2IR Vendor Statuses Explained
- Onboarded
- Resource Sharing product and engineering teams have met with the vendor, discussed the certification process, and shared API documentation.
- Vendor has signed a Mutual Non-Discloser Agreement (MNDA).
- Resource Sharing Engineering has provided the vendor with an API key.
- Resource Sharing product and engineering teams have met with the vendor, discussed the certification process, and shared API documentation.
- Using Sandbox
- Vendor is placing calls to the D2IR API testing environment.
- Sandbox Certification In Progress
- Sandbox certification is conducted with our product and engineering teams, and the vendor.
- Vendor shares the workflows of their D2IR integration in their ILS with our product and engineering teams.
- Sandbox certification is conducted with our product and engineering teams, and the vendor.
- Sandbox Certified
- To pass sandbox certification, the vendor demonstrates that their implementation meets the mandatory criteria for INN-Reach transactions within our testing environment.

- Production Certification In Progress
- Production certification is conducted with our professional services team, the vendor, library, and INN-Reach system staff.
- To pass production certification, we setup a new library using the vendor's implementation in one of the INN-Reach systems and perform extensive testing to ensure that transactions are sent as expected and item statuses are kept up to date throughout the INN-Reach circ transactions.
- For the vendors certified so far, Ex Libris(Alma) and ByWater(Koha), the timeline for certifying the first site for a new vendor in production has been roughly 6 months from project kickoff to go-live in an INN-Reach system.
- In Production
- A library is actively participating in an INN-Reach system via the vendor’s D2IR integration for their ILS.
- Additional libraries can now be added for the certified vendor by our professional services team.
- For the vendors certified so far, Ex Libris(Alma) and ByWater(Koha), the timeline for certifying additional sites for vendors in production has been roughly 3 months from project kickoff to go-live in an INN-Reach system.
