* Unreleased version
1 All new installations of Sierra on a Linux platform must use the most current supported version of 64-bit Red Hat or CentOS Linux
2 Red Hat announced in December 2020 that updates for CentOS 8 will end December 31, 2021 (replaced by CentOS Stream 8), it is expected that libraries upgrading CentOS will select the now longer-lived CentOS 7 with support through June 30, 2024. Sierra will not support CentOS Stream 8, alternative Red Hat compatible distributions to succeed CentOS are under consideration.
Innovative had originally announced support for CentOS 8 in Sierra 5.3. We no longer plan to support CentOS 8 in Sierra 5.3+ due to 12/31/2021 EOL.
3 Both Intel and M1 chips are supported
