Please open a ticket in the Supportal and indicate your name, the listserv you would like to be added to and your institutional email address.

Innovative hosts various listservs to facilitate communication with our customers and to provide a forum for customers to communicate with one another on specific topics.

Innovative sponsors two types of customer listservs: discussion listservs and product listservs:

Discussion Listservs

A discussion listserv is open to any staff of an Innovative customer site. Currently, the only discussion listserv offered is the Cataloging listserv. Innovative listservs accept only email addresses using domain names of customer libraries. Innovative is unable to subscribe email addresses using common domains such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail.


Product Listservs

Innovative also hosts listservs for selected products. Participation in a product listserv is limited to staff at an Innovative library that has purchased and installed the product.

  • Sierra
  • SkyRiver


Listserv Participation and Tools

If you are a member of an Innovative listserv, you will be able to log into your listserv account to manage settings or to read archives.

Delivery options

Complete the following steps to change your Innovative listserv subscription settings:

  • Go to http://listserv.iii.com/read/my_forums/ (login needed)
  • Log in using your email address and password (if you have set a password).
  • Select the My Account tab.
  • Change your Membership Type, as needed. If you choose the No email option, you will need to change your settings later if you want to continue receiving emails from your subscribed lists.
  • Click the Save Changes button.


Update September 2022 on Innovative Listserv migration:

Listserv.iii.com has recently been migrated to a new location requiring a new public IP address.  Because this is a mail server, your library mail administrator may have, at one point, had to whitelist its address, either by name or by IP address. 

For those customers experiencing issues sending emails through listserv.iii.com or receiving mailings from listserv.iii.com, you may need update your mail/spam filters.


For reference, the OLD IP was 35.160.228.184 

You can use this to search your existing filters/whitelists


The NEW IP address is 192.33.187.14 

This public IP address should be whitelisted to ensure you are allowing email from the Innovative ListServ at listserv.iii.com

Removed CASE (28th June 2017). Not adding KB (ERM) yet as there seems to be a project on creating a Supportal group with KB customers.
